Orientation Class is a great place to learn more about Highland's history, beliefs, and governance and is highly recommended for everyone.  This is a requirement for membership and you will need to attend both classes for membership.  This is the 2-class Sunday crash course meeting on November 1 and 15 from 3 pm - 5:30 pm at the Merrill Campus.   Childcare is not available.  (The next class will be held in January/February during the Sunday school hour at the Wausau Campus.)

This is the place to register for our Wausau Christmas Eve Choir directed by Jody Hettinga! We are excited to be singing some beautiful music for our Christmas services this year including Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus”. Join us for this fun and meaningful opportunity to sing together!

Qualifications: Passionate about worship, able to learn vocal parts (by ear or notation), and singing ability! We have recorded tracks and sheet music to help you learn your part in advance.  Attendance at a minimum of 3 rehearsals is strongly encouraged.  Attendance at the Dec. 22 rehearsal is required.

11/19 (Thursday): 6:00-8:30 pm – Wausau Café Room

12/3 (Thursday): 5:00-7:00 pm – Wausau Café Room

12/10 (Thursday): 6:00-8:30 pm - Wausau Café Room

12/18 (Friday): 5:30-8:00 pm - Sanctuary - with worship band

12/22(Tuesday): 5:30-9:00 pm - Sanctuary - full rehearsal with dramas

12/24 (Thursday): Arrive at 10:30 am, run through at 11 am, services at 1, 3, 5 pm.  Lunch and snacks are provided on Christmas Eve.

Districts Youth Conference in Green Bay on January 15-17, 2027. Includes conference fee, lodging, transportation, lunch and dinner on Saturday.  This is for grades 7-12. Full payment is due at registration along with a Highland General Medical Permission Form (available on the next page). Rate: $240-cash until Nov. 4/$247- credit card.  Registration closes November 12 due to District deadlines and cash payments close November 4 and need to be in the church office by 3 pm Nov. 5 at the latest. If you chose the cash option please know that your student's spot is not held/confirmed until payment is received, and we are under strict deadlines from the District to turn in our names/numbers so please don't delay.   If you have a roommate request, please be sure to list it at the time of registration.

This event is nonrefundable - if you have to cancel we will use your payment to help youth who may need scholarships.  Partial scholarships are available before November 5 for those demonstrating need.  If your student needs a scholarship please email snames@highlandcommunitychurch.com prior to registration.
