Don't Give the Enemy a Seat - Women's Study

Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table by Louie Giglio (using the study guide only) – The study is based on Psalm 23 and focuses on overcoming the battle of our minds. It's fascinating and overwhelming to think that Psalm 23:5 says, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies."  The enemy can be lurking so close to us, but we don't need to give him a seat at the table where God has already given us victory over our struggles. We will be encouraged to keep godly thoughts at the forefront of our minds so our primary focus stays fixed on the Lord.  Led by Joanne Altman and Amy Rauman. Childcare not available. Please purchase a study guide online.

Isaiah Women's Study

Isaiah by Melissa Spoelstra:  Isaiah lived in a time when Israel was turning away from God just like we see in America.  As we study segments of Isaiah, we will see how we can trust God’s sovereignty, His timing, and His care for us even when things aren’t going the way we want.  Led by Betty Ann Hinds (bettyannhinds@icloud.com). Please purchase a book online. Childcare not provided.

Baptism Class Spring 2023

This Baptism class, being held on June 28 at the Wausau Campus, is required in order to be baptized in any of our baptism services to be held this summer.  Baptism services for 2023 will be on July 9 at Marathon and Wausau, and on July 16 at Merrill and Weston.  All services will be held outside immediately following the 10:30 am services at each campus.  Parents should plan to accompany children to the class. Baptism, at Highland, is a way that someone publically affirms that they have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.  Parents please only register the child(ren) being baptized not yourself (unless also getting baptized).
