Baptism Class
If you desire to be baptized at our all-campus August 24 Baptism Service being held in Merrill (this is our only scheduled summer/fall Baptism service), you will need to attend this class scheduled on Wednesday, August 6, from 6:00–8:00 pm. When registering, please list the full first and last name of the person being baptized. Parents should plan to attend this class with their children/youth.
Saturday Serve Conference for Highland Volunteers
The Serve Conference is for all who serve at Highland to empower, train, and equip for ministry. This is the Saturday offering. A second option is available on a Sunday afternoon (see other registration). Some ministries have this as a requirement of volunteering. This training is appropriate for volunteers age teen and older. Please check with your ministry if you are not sure. Children's ministry up to grade 5 and nursery is provided if preregistered by August 7. Details of breakout sessions are available when you are registering.

Women's Ministry Bonfire & Fall Kick-off Event
“Rivers of Living Water” John 7:38 “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” All women (and girls 6th grade and up) are invited to enjoy a time to Connect with others as we enjoy a picnic supper including s’mores, to Grow and learn about what it means to treasure Jesus, and to Go reach girls in need! Check out what the Women’s Ministry has to offer for the fall months and how you can get involved. We will meet at the Wausau fire pit on Thursday, August 21, 6:00–8:00 pm. Bring a camping chair. Women's Study: 1 & 2 Thessalonians Verse by Verse
Have you ever felt discouraged? How can we keep going in the midst of a changing culture? 1 and 2 Thessalonians remind us what’s at stake. And that we are not alone! He who calls us is faithful. Ezekiel Part 2: Most of Part 2 will focus on future prophesies, yet to be fulfilled, which will give us great hope in God’s plan for Israel and the world. We will seek to know God more. 1,2,3 John and Jude An exploration of John’s encouragement to us to persevere in our faith, walk in the balance of love and truth, assure us of our fellowship with Christ and each other, discern truth from falsehood, and to practice hospitality.
